Well…it’s Musky Monday and everything in PA is still frozen solid. It’s been a brutal winter the past month leaving us with nothing but time to tie flies and day dream about Toothies. Although the winter seems like it is never going to end, there are some awesome events/trips coming up that we are more than stoked about.
First, we have the Lancaster Fly Fishing Show this weekend! Clark, Evan and I will be there both days tying and selling all different types of flies at our booth, so stop on by and shoot the shit! We will also be running special show prices on our Keystone Fly Fishing Beanies, so if you see Clark, mention the blog or Instagram and you will be able to buy a beanie for $20! Next, my buddy Jon and I have a trip planned with Charlie Gordon of Buffalo Shoals Guide Service to chase Musky in Virginia. We couldn't be more excited about this, as Charlie seems to have those waters figured out; the dude absolutely crushes it! If you’re looking to get a Musky on the Fly, I highly suggest dropping Charlie a line.
Last but not least, in April there is the BEAST of the EAST Musky Fly Fishing Challenge hosted by the Nittany Valley Musky Alliance. Between the sponsors, the stretch of water and the guys who will be fishing it, it’s going to be a legendary event. We couldn't be more stoked!
