DO EPIC SHIT

That's the moral of the story in Johnny B. Traunt's short story The Universe Doesn't Give a Flying Fuck About You. I just got done reading this and I couldn't help but share it. Traunt basically summarizes how minimal our existance is in the grand scheme of things, and leaves you with one message: go out, and do WHATEVER makes you happy. If you want to be the worlds most successful engineer, do it. If you want to travel the world, do it. If you want to fly fish every single day for the rest of your life...DO IT! DO EPIC SHIT. Every single soul on this earth could get atomized any second, or the earth could just keep doing what it's been doing for thousands and thousands of years, and at the end of your life, no matter how important you were, the Universe doesn't care! It will keep doing, or not doing, whatever the hell it wants to, so you should do what makes YOU happy. So if you're stressed about something that isn't important, hesitant to quit your desk job to chase your dream, or just looking for some motivation to get out there and do something memorable, I highly suggest you take 20 minutes and read this short story. It is available for free on Amazon (linked above) and is an incredibly easy read. I'm not usually the philosophical type, but this guy makes some great points. Enjoy
